A Small Venue With A Cathedral Next Door
The Writing Room takes a lot of natural light, so ceremonies here photograph without anything needing to be set up. It seats fewer than most venues, which makes the whole thing feel closer than it otherwise would.
Because the hotel is yours for the day, nothing is shared and nothing runs to somebody else's schedule. That shows in the photographs more than people expect, as guests spread out and settle rather than staying put.
Licensed for the ceremony and used for the meal and the evening afterwards. South facing and bright for most of the afternoon.
Where the day actually loosens up. Better for a champagne reception and informal photographs than the size of it suggests.
