The Day
A Small Hotel And A Very Large Cathedral
Poets House is a small hotel on the road up to the cathedral, taken over for the day so nothing is shared and nothing runs to anybody else's schedule. The Writing Room takes a lot of light, which means the ceremony photographs without anything having to be set up.
The cathedral is three minutes on foot from the front door, and worth every one of them. Ten minutes up there gives you a set of photographs that look nothing like the rest of the day, and neither Mel nor Simon had to stand still for long to get them.

Neither of us particularly enjoys being in front of the camera, but Richard made us feel completely comfortable and relaxed, which really shows in the photographs. We have received so many compliments from family and friends, and we will treasure these for a lifetime.
