The Day
We Started At The Backs
Rather than meet at the register office we met by the river behind King's, walked round past the bridge and came out at the front of the college. An hour, no rush, and a set of photographs that look like Cambridge rather than like a car park in Arbury.
Then on to Ascham Road for the ceremony itself. Their families, one friend between them, and Coco the dog. Small enough that everybody there mattered, which is a good deal rarer than it sounds and much easier to photograph well.
An hour on the Backs, then half an hour at Ascham Road. The ceremony is the short part of a register office wedding. Where you spend the rest of it is the bit worth thinking about.

Every Photograph From The Day
Not a highlights reel. This is the gallery exactly as Patricia and Sharon received it, group photographs and details included, so you can see what a full day really comes back as.
Worth Knowing
You Do Not Have To Stay At The Venue
The pergola at Ascham Road works well and most couples are happy staying put. If you would rather have the Backs, Grantchester or somewhere green behind you, that is an easy thing to add.
